Race 2 – PRIX DE LA SEULLES

The lightly raced Francis Graffard filly, Ange De La Moisson shaped with promise on her return last month (the Prix Des Chaumieres) and Louis Bouton offsets the steadier of topweight with his 6Ib claim. A fraction ahead of her was Sister Of Love, a three time winner but seemingly just going through the motions at present. Alma Bella, Leoparduccio and Irishkamaya finished 2nd, 3rd and 5th respectively and hold strong claims. Of the trio, I prefer Leoparduccio, who followed up with another third placing at this track over but it was the run of PIERRE PREMIER that really caught the eye. The son of Pedro The Great ran better than his finishing position suggests and backed up an encouraging effort at Le Mans, his first run for 217 days. From gate 3 there’s much to like about his prospects under talented apprentice, Thomas Blanchouin. In a race of this nature, there are many others to consider including Addiction Dream, arguably best of the Graffard pair after an impressive victory over track and trip last month. Kerseymere and Mercurissime, recent C&D winner’s can also get involved.
